It is only fairly recently that science has acknowledged what the human race has known subliminally for centuries - that the scents and odors around us have a profound impact on how we perceive the world and how the world perceives us.  Certainly we have all encountered a certain unexpected scent that vividly transported us back to a particular moment in time.  Maybe it was a specific cologne reminding us of a lover from the past, or the smell of baby powder, or cinnamon and cloves at Christmas - or maybe even the smell of Ben Gay, reminding us of a beloved grandparent.   Whatever the scent - good or bad -  we know that it stimulates something within us that draws out powerful associated memories. The mechanics of how and why this works are not well understood as of yet, but even science concedes that the sense of smell is a powerful force to be reckoned with, and mastery of the basics will most certainly enhance virtually every aspect of your life!
